Banbury
Banbury is a north Oxfordshire market town on the M40 at junction 11, and it sits in the middle of what the motor industry calls Motorsport Valley — the belt of engineering, race and performance businesses spread between Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire, with Silverstone half an hour away.
Thirty miles makes Banbury the furthest point we reach. It is mobile security fitting only, booked in advance, and best arranged around more than one vehicle if you can.
A town in the motorsport belt has more than its share of vehicles that are wanted for what they are rather than for scrap value — modified cars, performance saloons, prepared and track-used vehicles, and the vans and trailers that move them. Those are stolen to order more often than ordinary cars, which changes the calculation: a thief who has come for one specific vehicle is not deterred by an alarm and will not be put off by an obvious device. What works is something they cannot find and cannot bypass, and a tracker that keeps reporting after the car has gone.

Everything happens at your address — we bring the workshop to you, including its own power, so all we need is somewhere to park beside the car for a couple of hours. At this distance we need a little more notice than usual, and the price is still the same as it is in Milton Keynes.

Had my Mercedes C180 in with Kaine to replace both front suspension springs. I knew that this was not an easy job on this car. Dropped the car off in the morning and it was ready that afternoon. He did an amazing job and I'll be recommending him to friends and family for any work that they need doing. 5 stars!
Had my Audi S3 in for a complete overhaul — Kaine supplied and fitted all the parts, including cam belt, water pump, a full service and a balance shaft delete. He also noticed one of my rear callipers was sticking, so recommended and fitted a new calliper and new rear discs and pads too. A 5 star service — I'll only use Kaine from now on for any mechanical work.

Questions
For security fitting, yes — it is the furthest west we go, at the same fitted price with no mileage charge, but it needs booking in advance rather than same-week. Servicing, MOT and re-mapping are not practical at thirty miles and we will tell you so rather than take a booking we cannot serve properly.
It changes the threat more than the product. A modified or performance car is more likely to be taken deliberately rather than opportunistically, and somebody who has come for your specific car will not be deterred by noise and will know where the common devices live. That argues for an immobiliser with no visible module to find and a PIN sequence that cannot be bypassed, plus a tracker that keeps reporting afterwards. Tell us what has been done to the car — modifications occasionally affect where things can go.
Not for fitting security — the fitted price is the price, wherever you are in our coverage, and if somewhere is too far we will say so when you call rather than adding a charge to cover it. Everything else we come out to carries a £60 call-out, because that is us bringing the workshop to a job that would normally come to us.
Somewhere to park the car for a couple of hours, all keys for the vehicle, and someone at the address to take the handover at the end. That is it — the van carries its own power, so we need nothing from the house.
