Leighton Buzzard and Linslade sit either side of the Grand Union Canal about twelve miles south of Milton Keynes. The town's defining feature, for our purposes, is the railway: it is on the West Coast Main Line with a fast commuter service into Euston, and a substantial share of the town travels on it.
That produces a parking pattern we do not see anywhere else on our patch — a large number of cars left in one place, all day, five days a week, entirely unattended.
A commuter car is predictable in a way a home-parked car is not. It arrives at roughly the same time, it leaves at roughly the same time, and in between nobody who knows it is anywhere near it. That is a long, uninterrupted window, and it is why station car parks feature in vehicle crime out of proportion to their number — not because they are badly run, but because the timing is so reliable. Had my Mercedes C180 in with Kaine to replace both front suspension springs. I knew that this was not an easy job on this car. Dropped the car off in the morning and it was ready that afternoon. He did an amazing job and I'll be recommending him to friends and family for any work that they need doing. 5 stars!
Had my Audi S3 in for a complete overhaul — Kaine supplied and fitted all the parts, including cam belt, water pump, a full service and a balance shaft delete. He also noticed one of my rear callipers was sticking, so recommended and fitted a new calliper and new rear discs and pads too. A 5 star service — I'll only use Kaine from now on for any mechanical work.

Questions
A tracker with movement alerts at minimum, so you know the moment the car moves rather than eleven hours later. An immobiliser on top means it does not move at all. If you also want to know what happened around the car — door dings, someone reversing into it — a dashcam with a parking mode records while you are away, though it needs a hardwire kit to run with the engine off, which is part of what we fit.
Yes. Linslade, Heath and Reach, Billington, Stanbridge, Soulbury and the rest of LU7 are standard coverage at the same price. The Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire boundary runs through this area and makes no difference to us.
Not for fitting security — the fitted price is the price, wherever you are in our coverage, and if somewhere is too far we will say so when you call rather than adding a charge to cover it. Everything else we come out to carries a £60 call-out, because that is us bringing the workshop to a job that would normally come to us.
Somewhere to park the car for a couple of hours, all keys for the vehicle, and someone at the address to take the handover at the end. That is it — the van carries its own power, so we need nothing from the house.
